Thompson Show Steers is a family run operation started in the early 1980’s by Ron Thompson.  Chad and Sara Thompson along with their 3 boys and some outstanding employees work hard to raise show calves and elite genetics. At TSS, we have the highest standards for show cattle that are leading the way in structure, composition, and look. Raising the bar is a common phrase in this industry, but we do it in every decision we make, and never settle for good enough. Invest in the good ones and they will pay you back.

When you buy calves or genetics from TSS we want them to exceed your expectations – we love the excited calls after a calf is picked up, an embryo calf is born, or a show is won – THAT is the goal! When we make herd decisions we are constantly asking if we would want to buy it or if we saw that animal standing in somebody else’s pasture or show barn would we say “wow”.  If the answer is no then we know we have to do better.
